FY 2017-2020 Transportation Improvement Program Amendments

Proposed amendments to the FY 2017-2020 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) are available to review. Comments may be submitted by emailing sstepek@katsmpo.org or by mail to the Kalamazoo Area Transportation Study, 5220 Lovers Ln, Suite 110, Portage, MI 49002. Deadline to submit comments will be November 28, 2017. Comments may also be made at the November 29, 2017 Policy Committee to be held at 9:00 a.m. at Kalamazoo Metro Transit, 530 N. Rose Street. Public notice of public involvement activities and time established for public review and comments on the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) will satisfy the Program of Projects (POP) requirements for the following grantees: The Kalamazoo County Transportation Authority, the Central County Transportation Authority and Van Buren Public Transit.

Cancelled-Policy Committee Meeting

Due to a lack of action items, the August 30 KATS Policy Committee Meeting has been cancelled.  The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 27, at 9:00 a.m. at Kalamazoo Metro Transit, 530 N. Rose Street.

Yes.

Yes.

Why are you going out for bid?

KATS last contract for Audit Services ended with the FY 2015-2016 audit. KATS issues a Request for Proposals prior to entering any new contract for goods and services.

Did KATS have any audit adjustments in FY 2016?

Have there been any historical issues meeting the mid-January issuance deadline?

Project Name: FY 2017-2019 Auditing Services

The Kalamazoo Area Transportation Study (KATS) will be accepting sealed bids for auditing services until 12:00 noon on Monday, July 14, 2017. Bids should be clearly marked “FY 2017-2019 Auditing Services” and submitted to the office of the Kalamazoo Area Transportation Study, 5220 Lovers Lane, Suite 110, Portage, MI 49002. Facsimile Proposals Will Not Be Accepted.
