  1. Whose idea was it to put a traffic light on W. Main at the Advia drive? It was a bad move. Traffic from that building should go west on a service drive to 9th St then left to the light. Traffic backs up going west on Main from east of that light clear to the 9th St light. Today I could not get into the turn lane going South at 9th St. as the traffic was backed up too Far East.
Also ALL of the lights are too long and that is one reason for traffic back ups. I have noticed the traffic light time at the 9th St Walmart drive had been extended and that has made things worse there also.
I would like to speak to a real person not some robot if possible.

    • Our apologies for the belated response. West Main traffic lights are under the jurisdiction of the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). Please contact the Kalamazoo MDOT Transportation Service Center at phone number 269-375-8900.
