Remote Policy Committee Meeting October 28, 2020

Following the Michigan Supreme Court decision on October 2, 2020 that invalidated COVID-19 related executive orders, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) issued an Emergency Order on October 5, 2020 under MCL 333.2253 restricting indoor gathering sizes to 20 percent of capacity. Michigan legislature Senate Bill 1108 passed the Senate on October 12,2020, the House of Representatives on October 13, 2020, and Governor Whitmer on October 16, 2020 permitting virtual public meetings. In accordance with these rulings and required parameters, public bodies subject to the Michigan Open Meetings Act are authorized to continue remote meeting participation and voting during the continuing COVID-19 global pandemic.

Proposed Transportation Improvement Program Amendments

 

Proposed amendments to the FY 2017-2020 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) are available to review.  Comments may be submitted by emailing sstepek@katsmpo.org or by mail to the Kalamazoo Area Transportation Study, 5220 Lovers Ln, Suite 110, Portage, MI 49002. Deadline to submit comments will be April 24, 2019. Comments may also be made at the April 24, 2019 Policy Committee Meeting to be held at 9:00 a.m. at Metro, 530 N. Rose Street.  The proposed amendments are available at the following link: April TIP Amendment Handout-New 4-22-19.
