Draft FY 2024 Unified Planning Work Program

The Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) is an annual document identifying planning priorities and activities to be carried out within the Kalamazoo Area Transportation Study metropolitan planning area. The FY 2024 UPWP Draft is now available for public comment through April 6, 2023. Comments may be submitted to KATS email at erumick@katsmpo.org.

Policy Committee Meeting April 20, 2022

The Kalamazoo Area Transportation Study Policy Committee meeting will be held  on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at Metro, 530 N. Rose St., Kalamazoo. 

At the time of this notification, the federal public transportation mask mandate requiring participants to wear a face covering at Metro is still in effect. Although this mandate expires April 18, 2022, it may be extended. Upon meeting check in, participants will be notified of the current regulations in effect. Technical Committee Meeting April 14, 2022

The Kalamazoo Area Transportation Study Technical Committee will be meeting on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 9:30 a.m., at Metro, 530 N. Rose St., Kalamazoo. In accordance with the federal public transportation mask mandate, participants are required to wear a face covering and complete the COVID-19 Health Assessment Questionnaire that will be available upon meeting check-in. Technical Committee Meeting March 10, 2022

The Kalamazoo Area Transportation Study Technical Committee will be meeting on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. at Metro, 530 N. Rose Street, Kalamazoo. Beginning January 1, 2022, the Michigan law permitting virtual meetings expired. Participants are required to wear a face covering and complete the COVID-19 Health Assessment Questionnaire that will be available upon meeting check-in.
