Reaffirmation of KATS 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan

The public is invited to comment on the proposed reaffirmation of the 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) as part of the public comment period running from October 28, 2020 until the adjournment of the Kalamazoo Area Transportation Study's virtual Policy Committee via Zoom teleconference scheduled for November 18, 2020 at 9:00 am.

This public meeting and comment period is your opportunity to review and comment on the KATS 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan, which identifies the Kalamazoo Metropolitan Area's transportation needs, summarizes the transportation network, and provides a vision for addressing those identified needs over the next 20+ years. The 2045 MTP is set to expire on April 27, 2021 and is proposed to be reaffirmed through November 30, 2021 to ensure a valid plan is in place until a new
2050 plan is approved.

Information on how to participate in the public meeting will be published on our website at www.katsmpo.org a week prior to the scheduled meeting on November 18, 2020 and will also be included on the meeting agenda. Public comments can be submitted at any time at sstepek@katsmpo.org, or can be made at the meeting during the comment opportunity.
