Remote Technical Committee Meeting November 5, 2020
Following the Michigan Supreme Court decision on October 2, 2020 that invalidated COVID-19 related executive orders, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) issued an Emergency Order on October 5, 2020 under MCL 333.2253 restricting indoor gathering sizes to 20 percent of capacity. Michigan legislature Senate Bill 1108 passed the Senate on October 12,2020, the House of Representatives on October 13, 2020, and Governor Whitmer on October 16, 2020 permitting virtual public meetings. In accordance with these rulings and required parameters, public bodies subject to the Michigan Open Meetings Act are authorized to continue remote meeting participation and voting during the continuing COVID-19 global pandemic.
The Kalamazoo Area Transportation Study Technical Committee meeting will be held remotely on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. via this link to Zoom Video Conferencing or Conference Call Dial In.
